You can read this article for more information about installing a Gothic font if you have Windows 95/98/ME. It's most likely needed for your situation if simply installing the font does not do anything for you. Scroll down to the instructions section. You can ignore the Uniscribe stuff if you are in Windows NT/2000/XP, where Unicode is supported. XP home has troubles supporting the Unicode range that Gothic fonts use. You can try Code2001 if you use XP Home, though untested as of currently to whether it will or will not work with Windows XP Home.
Unsaiklopedia uses a Gothic font to render gothic characters and words. In order to see these characters you must download a font that can render the high unicode characters, and then you must restart your browser to view them.
Gothic Fonts[πΌπ°πΉπ³πΎπ°π½]
- Skeirs is a clean gothic font that will render the characters in a very readable format.
- Vulcanius is for those a little more daring, and want a font that chances are you can't really read. Actually, you can read it, but it's going to be harder than skiers because it fades the characters.
- Code2001 - Might work for XP home. You must have font smoothing on to have it work. Code2001 will not be as easy to read as Skeirs, but unlike it it will support a lot of higher up Unicode characters besides Gothic, and it has a Latin alphabet set that isn't mashed in with Gothic characters.
